For your team
Your team is the first warning sign
Most fraud attempts reach a person before they reach a system. The difference is whether that person recognizes the signal and reports it in time.
What it's for
So the people in your company recognize a fraud attempt, know what to do when they see one, and don't feel that reporting it will get them in trouble.
What it helps you avoid
Situations the sessions work through:
- An urgent email from the director asking for a transfer outside the normal process.
- A call from someone claiming to be from support, asking for access to the computer.
- A message with a link to a page identical to the sign-in page.
- A person who realized too late and didn't report it out of fear.
- A supplier who changed their bank details by email, without confirming through another channel.
What Waxxor does
Workshops
Sessions with your team in everyday language, with examples that look like their actual work rather than a technical manual.
Good practices
We agree on simple, workable rules: how to verify a change of bank details, what to do with a suspicious link, who to tell and how quickly.
Phishing simulations
When the contracted program includes them, we send controlled test emails to see how the team responds and reinforce where needed.
Follow-up
Content, frequency and follow-up are defined according to the program contracted.
What's included and what isn't
What it normally includes
- Workshops with your team, in the agreed format.
- Good-practice material that applies to daily work.
- Phishing simulations, when the contracted program includes them.
What's worth making clear
- Syllabus, duration, frequency and deliverables depend on the program contracted. There is no single format.
- Phishing simulations are not included in every program.
- Awareness reduces risk; it does not remove it. It accompanies technical measures, it does not replace them.
How it's delivered
The format, whether in person or remote, along with the platform and materials, is agreed according to the program. We don't assume a specific tool or a fixed syllabus.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a workshop last?
It depends on the program and the size of the group. We agree on it beforehand, along with the syllabus.
Do phishing simulations put people on the spot?
The goal is not to single anyone out. Results are used to reinforce where it's needed, and how that information is handled is agreed with you before we start.
How often should it be repeated?
It depends on staff turnover and on the risks in your operation. It's defined in the program; we don't apply a fixed frequency to every company.
Is it worth it if we're a small team?
Yes. With small teams it often works better, because sessions can be built around concrete situations at the company.
