With SentinelOne
Protect your company's computers and servers
A traditional antivirus recognizes threats it already knows. SentinelOne also watches how programs behave on each device, and can stop and roll back malicious activity depending on the platform, configuration and license contracted.
What it's for
So that if something malicious reaches a computer or a server at your company, it gets detected and stopped right there, without you having to be the one who notices first.
What it helps you avoid
Situations this service helps contain:
- A file someone downloaded that starts encrypting documents.
- A program that installed itself and sends information outward.
- A device behaving differently and nobody knows since when.
- A server someone is trying to get into outside business hours.
- A new threat the usual antivirus doesn't recognize yet.
What Waxxor does
Our work goes beyond installing the agent.
Implementation
We install the agent on the agreed computers and servers, coordinating with your team so the operation isn't interrupted.
Configuration
We tune detection and response policies to how your company works, so it protects without getting in the way.
Alert review
We review the alerts the platform generates and tell you what needs your attention. A person does this review, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, Hermosillo time.
Support
We explain what happened, what was done and what is worth changing. The extent of this support is defined in the proposal.
What's included and what isn't
What it normally includes
- Agent deployment on the agreed devices.
- Configuration of protection and response policies.
- Alert review during business hours, with notice of what matters.
- Support during an incident, according to the contracted scope.
What's worth making clear
- The platform's detection and automated response run continuously. Human alert review happens Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, Hermosillo time.
- We do not offer a SOC or 24/7 human support, nor immediate attention outside those hours.
- Available capabilities depend on the platform, the configuration and the license contracted.
- No tool offers total protection. The goal is to reduce risk and shorten the time to detection and containment.
- The number of devices, the timelines and the extent of support are defined in the proposal.
The technology behind it
SentinelOne is an endpoint protection platform. Beyond recognizing known threats, it watches how processes behave on each device and can act without waiting for instructions.
Agent on the device
Installed on each computer or server, it works in the background, including when the device is away from the office.
Behavioral detection
It doesn't rely only on a list of known threats: it watches what programs do and reacts to anything that behaves like an attack.
Central console
Where we see device status and alerts, and where policies get applied.
Rollback
Depending on the platform, configuration and license contracted, SentinelOne can roll back changes made by malicious activity on supported systems.
Frequently asked questions
Does this replace the antivirus we already have?
Yes, it replaces it. SentinelOne covers what a traditional antivirus does and adds behavioral detection and automated response. Running two solutions of this kind on the same device usually causes conflicts.
What happens if it detects something on a Saturday?
The platform's detection and automated response have no schedule. What does have a schedule is the human review of alerts: we do that Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, Hermosillo time.
Do you offer a ransomware guarantee?
The vendor runs its own warranty program, subject to eligibility conditions and to SentinelOne's current terms. It is not a Waxxor guarantee and we do not offer it as a commercial promise. If it interests you, we'll go through the vendor's current documentation together.
Will it slow the computers down?
The agent is designed to work in the background. If a conflict shows up with software specific to your operation, we adjust the policy.
